Eighth Grade Retreat Day
On Friday, April 25, Mrs. Smircich took the eighth grade on a
graduation retreat day at the Motherhouse of the Carmelite Sisters for
the Aged and Infirm. The retreat center is situated by the Hudson River
in Germantown, NY. It was a beautiful day. The students filled the day
with songs, prayer, relaxation and introspection.
The Sisters were gracious as they showed the class the chapels
and the Heritage Room which is filled with Memorabilia of Mother
Angeline's Cause for Canonization. She is the foundress of their
community. Her Cause for Canonization is presently in Rome for
examination. The students had the priviledge of being in Mother's
room, which is now a chapel.
Everyone returned home with renewed feelings of hope, love and
joy.
Congratulations to Our Second Graders!
Congratulations to our second graders who received the
Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Wednesday, April 23rd.
Continue to keep them in your prayers as they prepare for First
Communion in a few weeks.
Silent Auction & Dinner Dance
The Home School proudly invites you to attend this year's Silent
Auction and Dinner Dance. The list of items donated is AMAZING
this year. (We are talking things like tickets to Macy's Thanksgiving Day
Parade, autographed sports items, vacation get aways and tons more!

all of the wonderful supporters who donated these amazing items. The
dinner is an Italian Buffet. Cost is $35.00 per person. Seating is limited
